Swan® Multipurpose Swivel

Few things are more frustrating than a garden hose that kinks at the water source. It’s time to say goodbye to these kinks with Swan’s Multipurpose Swivel hose connector.

What makes this garden hose swivel connector so special is its unique ability to rotate a water hose in both a 180-degree and a 360-degree direction at the faucet. That means a garden hose can smoothly move forward, backward and around in a circle without forming the sharp twists or curves that can cause it to cut off the water supply.

The water hose swivel connector is made of a heavy-duty ABS construction, designed to hold up through many seasons of use. The female coupling, meanwhile, is extra-large and easily attaches to the water source.

The hose swivel connector fits most popular garden hose diameters, including a 1/2-inch garden hose, a 5/8-inch garden hose and a 3/4-inch garden hose. Try one today and discover why it’s called “the water accessory you never knew you needed!”

5 of 5 If You Have a Hose Reel, You Ned This Thing! March 16, 2020
Reviewer: The Guy with the Dogs from Southern MD
I have dealt with several hose reels from various manufacturers, and have NEVER found one which did not kink the hose at least partially where it attaches to the fitting coming out of the reel.
I have spent hours experimenting with anti-kink spring fittings, hose fittings, and plumbing fittings to get a more-or-less satisfactory result.
Then I discovered these little guys; problem solved, and for only 7$!  Where were they hiding all my life??
They also are handy for what they're designed for; preventing kinking at the hose bibb when the hose is pulled at an angle, but I've been able to solve that problem in other ways too.

They should be in the garden section of EVERY hardware store.
My only suggestion would be to market a brass version, which would obviously cost a lot more, but I do find plastic threads annoying sometimes, and I would easily be willing to pay double for it.
